Fire Retardant Tarps
When the risk of fire is present, turn to our premium fire retardant tarps from Tarp Surplus. These flame resistant polyethylene tarps meet NFPA 701, CPAI-84 and California Title 19 standards, making them the go-to choice of fire departments, at campgrounds and for dozens of industrial settings. Our 3-ply 12 mil fire resistant tarps are tough, too, with a 14 x 14 mesh count, heat-sealed seams and rope-reinforced edges on 1,200-denier tarpaulins that weigh in at 6 oz./sq. yd. These waterproof and rot-proof poly tarps are UV treated on both sides with arctic flexibility to stand up against the elements in hot and cold climates. Rust-resistant grommets are spaced every 18" on flame resistant tarps that resist mildew, tears and rips. Choose the size you want in silver, white or black fire retardant poly tarps that are constructed to slow down or even stop the spread of flames.

Tarp Surplus offers silver fire retardant tarps with all of the features of our regular premium tarps and additional coverage against fire. Our flame resistant polyethylene tarps are made using high-density polyethylene, a material that gives them durability and strength. Adding to their durability are rope reinforced edges and corner guards, a 3-ply construction and a 12 Denier count. As with many of our tarps, both sides are treated with UV protection, making them excellent for use as shade cloths. They're also treated with fire resistant agents that ensure these products are fire resistant under the NFPA 701, the CPAI-84 and California Title 19 standards.
The heavy duty nature of these tarps means they're also resistant to tearing, acid, water, mildew and rot, and they also have Artic flexibility. These tarps weight about 6 ounces per square yard and have a material thickness of 12 Mil. The mesh count is 14 by 14. Grommets are conveniently placed every 18 inches.
Unique to this line of tarps is the wide range of size options available. Our smallest tarp is 6 feet by 10 feet, while the largest silver fire retardant tarp available is the 40 feet by 60 feet tarp.
